This is the East Anglian openwork, fitched fruit picker used traditionally in agriculture to pick the strawberries for jam making. This roomy basket is handy for gathering garden produce and is also a popular choice for storing yarn and items for similar hobbies when you want to see at a glance what's lurking at the bottom of your work basket.
