A unique storage basket option for a shelf or shelving in your kitchen or about your home. This strong basket with stout white willows is traditional to UK orchard regions such as here in the River Clyde valley. This style with its thick rim and 1/2 bushel volume was used by fruit merchants for apples, cherries etc. They didn't pick from the tree and fill these baskets, these were the containers the fruit was sorted into to be sold and was given the name 'Covent Garden Sieve' after the famous fruit market. Store your items is a UK heritage style with a story behind its design.
